LIGHT’N UP! began in 2019 with an idea, a Ford Focus, and some old grip and lighting gear. The idea was to bring quality filmmaking gear and expertise to indie filmmakers who had great ideas and a small budget. Over the next two years, that small idea would grow into a full-fledged grip and lighting owner/operator and rental business that aims to help out the indie filmmaking and commercial production worlds at any budget level.

LIGHT’N UP!’s owner/operator Jon Cibella has helped numerous film and commercial productions achieve their goals around the state of Ohio and beyond. Using the production knowledge and skills he’s learned from working on multi-million dollar studio films around the state, Jon takes every ounce of that experience and places it into your production; no matter the size or budget!
